How this works for both of us…

  1. please send us an email (or call us) about your story and your history
  2. advise us of any previous writing/publishing/awards/ i.e. your credentials
  3. we will be in touch asap – within days. Not a 3 month long wait, or a ‘if you don’t hear from us…” 
  4. should you be currently signed to an established publisher, please don’t contact us, you are their client
  5. ensure your work is 100% original and is copyright protected (c) with your name
  6. we ask that you submit your work in digital format only i.e. word docs/pdf’s. Please retain original copies of your work, prior to submitting, as we can’t guarantee it won’t be lost in transit
  7. we ask authors to enter into a written agency agreement, prior to commencing any consulting or agency work 
  8. ED reserves the right to cancel all our (verbal or written) agreements if there are any issues regarding plagiarism or copyright 
  9. ED  does not charge a reading fee, we have always conducted our business ethically and lawfully
  10. MONEY | PAYMENTS & COMMISSIONS
  11. All earnings/income for our clients are paid directly to the author’s bank account by all the buyers
  12. ED shall be paid an agreed upon agency fee/commission by the author within 7 days of receiving their funds, (see 11 above) we invoice for payment in AUD. Yes, we trust you. 
  13. All client negotiations and financial interests are strictly confidential
  14. We don’t handle legal documents, contracts and/or agreements or offer any legal advice. That we leave to the professionals and you.
